Infini Glass Ltd

I am a glass artist/designer working with warm glass processes. In 2008 I graduated with a first class degree in Contemporary Crafts BA(Hons). I have started to establish my practice in both corporate and private markets. I installed my first corporate installation at Volvo head offices in Warwick in 2009 where I was awarded the Volvo prize. I also won student enterprise awards for setting up my creative business ‘Infini Glass Ltd’ whilst in the final year of my degree.

I design and create glass art from concept to installation giving it a personal and handmade character. My work varies from small vessels to large panels of fused glass and each artwork is unique.  Inspiration comes from my architectural photography and architectural forms. I am interested in incorporating textures and depth into my glass art without over complicating things.

With my latest body of work for galleries and exhibitions I am constructing my artworks from small pieces of glass to create intricate patterns. I am enjoying this timely process and the results are very rewarding. I am currently an artist in residence at Coventry University researching the build of a new piece of architecture. I will be developing my ideas over the next coming months and I will install an architectural glass installation in August 2011.

I am a member of the Contemporary Glass Society and the Society of Designer Craftsmen. I will be exhibiting in April at the BTCF in Harrogate in the newcomer’s gallery section.
