Linen is synonymous with Ireland. For hundreds of years generations of skilled weavers have produced this unique fabric known the world over for its superior quality and classic beauty.

Gail Kelly's work reflects her interest in the countryside.  She has produced several series of linocuts inspired by tradition and folklore, and has printed her designs on fine Irish linen.  She also designs and publishes Algan Arts greetings cards.

Gail Kelly has a B.A. Honours in Fine Art Printmaking from the Ulster College of Art and Design and a M.F.A. from Louisiana State University.  She returned to Northern Ireland in 1992 and lives and works in the countryside in County Down.
