Anna Loucah

18ct yellow gold 'Leucosia' necklace with freshwater pearl & pink tourmaline by Anna Loucah

Anna believes jewellery to be a powerful form of adornment and draws inspiration for the amuletic properties of ancient jewellery along with the sentiment and tradition of Art Nouveaux.

With a sense of magic realism woven through each handcrafted piece, Anna's jewellery is about a personal relationship and as such her work will often contain a movement or a compartment known only to the wearer.

A love of colour and of the materials she uses informs her work. Precious metals are manipulated and intricately constructed using traditional techniques and quality craftsmanship, while pearls and colourful gemstones radiate through the piece.

Since working as a goldsmith in India and Hong Kong, Anna has established her own business and built a strong, loyal clientele. Selling her work through select shows, exhibition or by way of private commission, Anna celebrates the personal experience that jewellery represents and this love of the art form is apparent throughout her work.
