In the press my jewellery is being described as "gorgeous", "elegant" and "glamorous", which is fabulous when you consider that I specialise in creating jewellery by recycling materials that are due to be discarded, or that have once been something else: plastic bags, drinks cans, rags, salvaged metals, often also incorporating vintage beads, gems, crystals and objects of sentimental value. My work is a 2009 Green Apple Environment Award winner and I am a Member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen and of the Manchester Jewellers Network.
