Cadman Furniture

Arthur and Rachel Cadman are a married team who design and make beautiful contemporary hardwood furniture. They call their work 'functional art' as sculptural form and practicality are blended into unique pieces which can be both admired and used!

By fusing Rachel's accomplished art, craft and design skills with Arthur's Rycotewood Furniture College training and traditional cabinetmaking experience, they create
individually hand crafted pieces, either speculatively or working with the ideas and dimensions required by their customers.

Sourced only from sustainable woodland management - oak, ash, cherry and walnut are combined with unusual timbers such as spalted beech, bog oak and various fruit woods. They like to add unique touches when suitable such as hand carved handles or stained glass.

Together, they endeavour to create an enjoyable experience during the commissioning process and always apply high standards to their work from concept to completion.

Cadman furniture is a member of the guild of master craftsmen.
