Craig Fellows

Craig Fellows is an award-winning textile print designer with a passion for colour and illustration, combining his fine art talents with his love of print and textiles. Using traditional, contemporary and digital printing techniques, Craig transforms his illustrations into luxurious fashion and interior accessories. Each piece is designed, printed, made and hand-finished in Britain. This makes the work completely unique and can truly not be found on the high street.

As a contemporary textile practitioner, Craig has developed a wide range of technical knowledge and first-hand experience with traditional and contemporary printing practices. Recently graduating with an MA in Textile Design Innovation, Craig has developed a body of research exploring the notion of Synergistic Design. This investigation questions the nature of current printing methodology, looking at potential innovations in blending processes to create a symbiotic relationship between textile design and printing practices.

Craig's work creates an innovative dialogue between line and colour, developed using both contemporary and traditional practices. Naturally occurring colour is used with hand illustrations and layered textures to create a fresh contemporary collections.

With all this already under his belt, it’s not surprising that Craig Fellows is considered “one to watch” by

"So long, and thanks for all the fish"

After very many years of craft&design we've decided that we'd like to retire and so in 37 days we will close the craft&design website, including craft&design Online and the craft&design Selected Makers and Craft and Design Month websites. We've had a brilliant 35 years and would like to thank all our readers, advertisers, writers, contributors and website visitors for their support throughout that time. Our very best wishes to you all for the future - Angie and Paul.
