Clarise Designer Jewellery
My work has evolved from taking inspiration from plants, flowers, birds and insects in my garden to transforming other people’s favourite leaves and flowers into permanent keepsakes from a special moment in time.

I use metal clay paste to transform organic matter into pure silver replicas of leaves, flowers and even butterflies. It is a delicate process but one that captures every detail of the original material. This can be left as it is but sometimes I embellish the piece with Cubic Zirconia, Swarovski crystals, gold or wax pencils.  Colour is always chosen with the specific flower or leaf in mind. I try to capture the natural beauty of the original in the piece while using colour, shape and form together to create a wearable piece of art.

Every piece of jewellery I make is as unique as each leaf or flower and by adding tendrils I can ensure all are truly different.  Using the technique and processes that I do I can make large strong pieces but still manage to replicate the delicate form of the organic material. I think of my work as being quite romantic as it always has a special meaning for me and each of my customers.
