Emma Turpin

work by Emma Turpin

Hand crafted contemporary silver jewellery with elements of oxidisation and 22ct gold plating. Inspired by Traditional British crafts, The Victorian Period and folk life.

Emma Turpin graduated in 2005 from Middlesex University. Since graduating Emma has gone on to design several collections, which she currently sells at several galleries and craft fairs nationally.

Her main collection 'Maidens Garlands' consists of hand folded fine silver rosettes, many of these Rosettes rotate allowing each piece to be very tactile and playful. No rosette is ever the same, making each piece individual. Emma strives to design and make pieces of wearable jewellery influenced by her love of the Victorian Period but with a contemporary feel using modern techniques and tools.

Emma is continually designing and developing new pieces. Including larger 'one off' sculptured Rosette rings. Each one being hand folded from fine silver with milled lace texture.
