Hand crafted contemporary silver jewellery with elements of oxidisation and gold plating. Inspired by Traditional British crafts.

Emma Turpin graduated in 2005 from Middlesex University. Since graduating Emma has developed her style inspired by taditional Britsh crafts.

Emmas' current work is made from silver and there are elements of gold plating and oxidisation in some of the pieces. Many pieces are kinetic. All the pieces of jewellery are availble in different sizes and finishes. The current collection is continually expanding, these pieces are made by milling, forming, forging, folding and have varied finishes to them. This collection has been inspired by a traditional British Craft;

The Maidens Garlands.
"There is a tradition dating back to the 17th century, that if a girl should die after her betrothal but before her marriage then a garland was made to accompany her coffin at the funeral ceremony"
