Sarah has comprehensive experience in all aspects of business, from running a distribution center, an engineering business and being a financial whizz to casino croupier, senior highways inspector, leading eventually to her true love, designing jewellery.

Driven by oriental life and traditions, Taoism being her strongest influence, reflecting her creativity and lifestyle. Her Valentines Collection has elements of romance and mystery. Sarah likes her clients to interpret what they see, making the jewellery more personal and ambiguous.

Sarah is a very tactile person and this has evolved in her Jewellery making, she likes to see her pieces touched and caressed. 'Beauty is not only in the look of a piece, but on how it feels, the weight, the strength, the carved undulations, the surface texture.' Another contributory influence is Sarahs' previous visits to the blind center in Northampton.

'The Jewellery I make is inspired by nature and the psychology of symbolism used by the Chinese and other countries and religions both past and present'.
