Glenn Malkin is an award-winning bookbinder working with traditional methods, materials and techniques to create beautiful and unique design bindings.

Design bindings are contemporary pieces of unique art which reflect and link to the pages within. They use the very finest materials and are entirely hand crafted. Taking many weeks to complete, each binding will incorporate a range of features, usually including hand sewn silk end bands, fine leather coverings, hand sewn text blocks with decorated edges and a tailor-made presentation box. Design Bindings can vary in price tremendously depending on the complexity of the design and the materials used, but typically fall in the £1,000 to £2,000 range.
