Helen Brice

Helen has been designing and making award winning jewellery since launching ‘Helen Brice Designs’ in 1999. Now based in the Southwest, her intricate designs are warmly received by customers old and new.

The ‘Precious Collection’ bridges the gap between classical and contemporary jewellery, combining warm precious metals in unusual finishes with the beautiful tones of natural gemstones. Drawing inspiration from architectural and organic forms with naturally occurring textures & patterns such as crystal structures, Helen has created a timeless collection which is both stylish and wearable.

Helen has a great deal of experience in working with a variety of materials including Sterling Silver, 9ct or 18ct white, yellow or rose Gold, Platinum and Palladium. She is happy to offer advice and create new designs for special commissions such as bespoke wedding and engagement rings. In particular, Helen enjoys breathing new life into old or inherited jewellery by resetting gemstones or recycling the gold into a new piece.

Helen regularly exhibits at Craft Fairs and Exhibitions around the UK, where you can try on the jewellery and discuss and your ideas with her in person. Some items from the collection are also available through selected galleries and the online shop. For up-to-date information about galleries and a calendar of events, please check the website.

"So long, and thanks for all the fish"

After very many years of craft&design we've decided that we'd like to retire and so in 37 days we will close the craft&design website, including craft&design Online and the craft&design Selected Makers and Craft and Design Month websites. We've had a brilliant 35 years and would like to thank all our readers, advertisers, writers, contributors and website visitors for their support throughout that time. Our very best wishes to you all for the future - Angie and Paul.
