Jana Reinhardt Jewellery is a husband and wife team. Jana, who was trained in Germany, established the business in 2006 and wasted no time in building her reputation within the jewellery industry. After having won an award from the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Company, she has been shortlisted for “Young Designer of the Year” in the 2008 UK Jewellery Awards.
Following an apprenticeship and a degree in Jewellery Design from the well-regarded “Zeichenakademie Hanau”, Jana relocated to London. After having worked for Lara Bohinc and as a diamond mounter on Hatton Garden, she decided to use her ten years experience in traditional jewellery and fashion to set up her own company.
By the time Jana’s husband Ross Cutting joined, in 2008, the business was well established and continued to go from strength to strength. Ross, an accomplished jeweller himself, has been working for Stephen Einhorn and EC One since graduating from London Guildhall in 2000. He is involved in all aspects of Jana Reinhardt Jewellery, from designing new collections to production and marketing.
All Jana Reinhardt collections are playful and feminine, with an almost architectural quality. The distinctive designs are based on floral shapes, such as bellflowers and lilies, initially inspired by Arts & Crafts Movement prints as well as Victorian jewellery designs.
