Jane Flanagan

I am a hand woven textiles designer and traditional textiles craftsperson based in Bolton, where I create clothing and accessories in natural yarns and fibres. An exhibiting member of The Art and Craft Guild of Lancashire, I currently sell my work via three galleries and offer tuition in felt making, weaving, spinning and natural dyeing to adults and children of all ages.

My inspiration derives from the sights, textures, structures and forms in the natural and manmade environment. My current work aims to stretch the boundaries and limitations of woven cloth by pushing the fibres and techniques to their limits, to create an extra dimension.
