Jeanne Marell

Contemporary, minimalist jewellery with a twist, designed and handmade in London Jeanne's keen eye for form, material and finish combinations results in unique and enduring designs. Her pieces are precious objects with a style and craftsmanship that lasts beyond the next fashion trend. Forms are often combinations of simple geometries, and each design combines two materials or finishes in an unexpected way. They reveal their intricate detailing to those who take a closer look.

Jeanne works in gold and silver, and often combines these with non-precious materials such as wood, perspex and nylon. All pieces containing gold or silver are hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

Would you like a piece especially designed for you or your loved one, or would you like to personalise one of Jeanne's designs with your favourite colour or material? Please get in touch.

After 10 years working both as an in-house and consultant product and colour & materials designer, Jeanne's portfolio includes cars, mobile phones, catheters and other products for companies such as Coloplast, General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Hyundai, Nokia, Samsung and TomTom.

Even though she has designed and made jewellery on-and-off for the last 18 years, she has now decided to take a leap and share her pieces with a wider audience, building a business around her passion.

"So long, and thanks for all the fish"

After very many years of craft&design we've decided that we'd like to retire and so in 7 days we will close the craft&design website, including craft&design Online and the craft&design Selected Makers and Craft and Design Month websites. We've had a brilliant 35 years and would like to thank all our readers, advertisers, writers, contributors and website visitors for their support throughout that time. Our very best wishes to you all for the future - Angie and Paul.
