Jenny Pepper

Since childhood I have been surrounded by creative activities and have continued to explore new techniques throughout my life. In later years I was introduced to felt making as a technique and discovered my great passion. I have been feltmaking for 10 years, but continue to learn and develop new techniques. My work is constantly changing and evolving, as I continue to experiment with felting techniques. Having spent many years perfecting handbags and accessories, I am currently exploring felted vessels of all shapes and sizes. I take my inspiration from nature and often embellish my handmade felt work with natural found materials such as pebbles, feathers and driftwood.

I have had work selected for the International "On the Map" touring exhibition and recently exhibited and demonstrated at the Fashion and Embroidery Show, Harrogate. I also have work included in a touring exhibition with ICHF, the exhibition will visit Exeter, Brighton, Cardiff, Harrogate and Glasgow. I am involved with and lead children's arts projects within schools and also run workshops for adults.
 
I am a member of the International Feltmakers Association.
