Jodi is passionate about her work. She is inspired to produce glass pieces which draw from natural forms producing diversity which gives pleasure to the maker and the owner alike. Following graduation, her business was established in December 2001 at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh, Cumbria and in June 2003 she relocated to Cheadle Glass, Stockport. She has been privileged to have the support of the Princes' Trust during this time.
Jodi designs and produces a distinctive range of kiln formed glass products that demonstrate her fresh and innovative approach to design for the contemporary interior. The products incorporate a range of styles and colours and are appreciated by a discerning and diverse group of people.
Glass vessels made using confetti and pulled canes, are suitable either as objets d'art' or in day to day use. Alongside the vessels, clocks and wall pieces produced for interior use, Jodi produces a unique selection of glass inspired by the natural world and sterling silver jewellery which is contemporary and sophisticated - suitable for casual and formal wear. Her most recent design 'Orient' includes stunning black and white vessels and jewellery.
Jodi is already recognised as having a firm niche in her specialist field.
Whilst her inspiration is drawn from the natural world, she has designed a new range for 2004 which reflects her recent move back to the sophistication of the city. This has been an exciting venture - exploring new techniques and a fresh perspective on design.
