Lauren Crawford

Using luxury silks and woollen fibres, I design and produce an exclusive collection of hand woven fashion accessories.  My unique products are suitable for all occasions and include scarves, collars, corsages and garters.

Available in rich colours and styles; my accessories are designed, made and finished by hand using a combination of traditional and innovative weaving structures and techniques to complete each signature product.  My design process is iterative as I experiment with new combinations of colour and content.  Ongoing creativity and design work will always be the platform for my success so that I can maintain freshness and appeal in my offerings.

All fabrics and products are crafted in my workshop in Scotland and are featured on my website.  I am also available for collaborative projects and I am happy to receive commissions for custom pieces.

The glorious colours and textures that Venice reveals inspired fabrics from my degree show.  I am currently developing a new collection of fabrics based on Scottish traditions and the beauty within Scotland’s surrounding coastal areas.

My work has been received well at a number of exhibitions, including Direction show, New York, the British Craft Trade Fair, Harrogate, One Year On at New Designers, London and Designer Crafts at the Mall Galleries, London.   At Direction Show, I sold designs to Macy’s the world famous department store.

Lauren Crawford collections are also exhibited at a number of galleries and boutiques across the UK.

Prices range from £60 for a silk and lambs wool scarf to £120 for one that’s 100% silk.
