Reflecting the Delicacy and Beauty in Nature
As a keen gardener I find that flowers and leaves form a large part of my inspiration, sometimes taking several years to develop into the finished piece while waiting for a tool or technique to get it just right. I get excited about new tools and methods of working and I am constantly looking for new ideas. My training has been part time, making the most of the Adult Education System in Kent, while I brought up my family. Recently I was awarded Associate Craftsman by the Guild of Enamellers.

We wear jewellery to make us feel special: I like to design jewellery that makes me feel feminine, resulting in delicate yet hardwearing pieces. I enjoy experimenting so most of my pieces are one-off or limited editions, each design inspired by a moment in time. I work with sterling silver, changing the surface texture and use semi precious stones and enamels to highlight the effects.
