My jewellery is inspired by myths, fairytales, folk lore, and the natural world.  I am fascinated by stories of all kinds from ancient myths and legends to childrenbs tales.  I enjoy using narratives in my workb&a forgotten tale, a hidden forest or a mysterious creature, inviting the viewer to recall a favourite story, or perhaps to make up their own.

The designs are brought to life in precious metals, intricate details are cut out using a piercing saw and are often layered to give a three dimensional effect. Decorative effects such as, oxidising, enamelling, roll printing and keum boo (a Korean technique of fusing gold foil to silver) are also used to add texture or colour.
