Lynne is a jewellery designer, maker and teacher with a special interest in colour. She creates contemporary jewellery in silver, enamel, glass and other materials. Her work is often inspired by patterns in the landscape around her studio on the North Yorkshire Moors but also by historical artefacts. She has exhibited in galleries throughout the UK and also in the USA, Netherlands and Japan.
She has an MA in Design and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate and is a former Chair of the Guild of Enamellers. During 2009 she was artist in residence at Whitby Museum creating a range of jewellery 'Inspired by Heritage'.
Lynne also teaches enamelling; art clay silver; metal clay; lamp working and traditional jewellery making at her well equipped studio in North Yorkshire and is an Art Clay Certified Senior Instructor.
