  Selected Makers

Lynne Glazzard

Lynne is a jewellery designer, maker and teacher with a special interest in colour. She creates contemporary jewellery in silver, enamel, glass and other materials.  Her work is often inspired by patterns in the landscape around her studio on the North Yorkshire Moors but also by historical artefacts. She has exhibited in galleries throughout the UK and also in the USA, Netherlands and Japan.

She has an MA in Design and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate and is a former Chair of the Guild of Enamellers.  During 2009 she was artist in residence at Whitby Museum creating a range of jewellery 'Inspired by Heritage'.

Lynne also teaches enamelling; art clay silver; metal clay; lamp working and traditional jewellery making at her well equipped studio in North Yorkshire and is an Art Clay Certified Senior Instructor.

"So long, and thanks for all the fish"

After very many years of craft&design we've decided that we'd like to retire and so in 57 days we will close the craft&design website, including craft&design Online and the craft&design Selected Makers and Craft and Design Month websites. We've had a brilliant 35 years and would like to thank all our readers, advertisers, writers, contributors and website visitors for their support throughout that time. Our very best wishes to you all for the future - Angie and Paul.
