Margaret Carney

Margaret has worked as an Art teacher for many years, during which time she has continued her own work in various fields of creative work, particularly costume for Dance of all kinds from ballet through to jazz. Favourite subjects are portraits or dynamic figurative compositions. Vibrant, expressive elements with forceful impact, subtle or bold, hold the most attraction. In between bouts of major surgery, an idea to make a decorative tile surround in the bathroom window somehow mutated into a detailed figurative mosaic. Believing that there ever was life before Mosaic now seems incredible!
