Maria Starling Mosaics specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of high quality mosaics for interior and exterior decoration,  bringing this skilled art form to your home . Working from her London studio Maria will make your beautiful and original mosaic which can be fixed permanently to a floor or wall as a stylish focal point or fixed to a panel becoming a moveable piece of art. Maria also designs and makes mirrors and tables which will make a stunning feature to any room or a unique gift for that someone special.
My mosaic panels are a modern interpretation of this ancient art form to produce an individual and contemporary feel. I am continually drawn to pattern, texture and colour and experiment in their numerous combinations, resulting, hopefully in harmonious and decorative work. I find inspiration in a variety of places, from Islamic art and its myriad of intricate designs to fashion and the dazzling effects of a colourful Missoni print, but mostly I am captivated by glass itself and its ability to adorn most surfaces with its light reflecting nature adding vibrancy, depth and character to each piece of work.

I mainly work to commission and enjoy the challenge of  designing a mosaic that you will be happy to live with for ever..
