Moira Diane Wood

I design and make linen cushions, hangings and fabric lengths in natural tones of finest flax, with touches of indigo. The designs are inspired by line in nature and draw upon the character of flax.

I hand-spin the yarn to enhance the inherent qualities of the fibre. The yarn is woven to my own design and finished by hand.

I am concerned with the innate quality of the piece. My work is minimalist in appearance and is at home in both contemporary and traditional settings.
