Partners in Pewter

Exciting and elegant pieces of modern pewterware are created in our Cookham Dean studio.  Some of these are unique bespoke items whereas others are limited edition lines formed by casting or embossing, but all are functional.  The pewter we use contains no lead and so retains a warm shine with excellent light reflecting properties.

Our work is characterised by the originality of the designs and the high quality of the finish that we achieve.  In 2003 we were invited to demonstrate our skills at the annual "Art in Action" exhibition of the best in creative art that takes place in Oxfordshire. The Worshipful Company of Pewterers included one of our pieces in their Millennium Collection in 2000, added our touch mark to their Register in 2003, and made Adrian a Freeman in 2006.    At the Royal County of Berkshire Show in 2005 and 2006, we were given the Award of Excellence for the Best Display and Demonstration for our performance.  The work of Partners in Pewter has become known in the South of England through exclusive exhibitions, selective craft events, and by word of mouth.  The website is used as a current showcase for some of the regular lines, to illustrate the potential of the bespoke service, and to list the venues where we will be appearing.

We produce a wide range of pieces and small runs of bespoke items to delight individuals, clubs and corporations.  We make fine-art pewterware by design.
