My new figurative ceramic sculptures are all hand-built one-offs, available  in a few selected galleries, and at some of the best International Art Fairs and Ceramic Festivals in the UK and Europe.

I work in a bold, semi-abstract style, preferring simple curves and a minimum of detail. Close observation from life often provides the starting point for my stylized animal sculptures. Other current figurative themes are based on re-interpreting European folk tales such as Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. There is often an element of humour tinged with darkness in these dream-like compositions.
