Sally Dunham

Sally Dunham has two main areas focus with her work. Sally enjoys working with the human and animal form to portray realistic, yet contemporary interpretations that ‘capture a moment in time’. These sculptures are handcrafted using small slabs of clay pieced together almost like a patchwork quilt, giving them a lively and tactile surface.
The second area of Sally’s work is ‘A moment with Mister and Mrs Herbert,’ a lovable, stylised figure, whose adventures adventures capture many everyday sayings and situations. Mister Herbert is available in two sizes, small, with the Herbert standing approx. 12cm tall and large standing approx. 45cm tall. The larger sculptures have more detail to the hands and feet. The collection features free-standing and wall mounted designs, often incorporating uplifting quotations about life and love.
Mister Herbert’s adventures are continually developing and some new designs feature vehicles, mythical creatures and fairies.

"So long, and thanks for all the fish"

After very many years of craft&design we've decided that we'd like to retire and so in 127 days we will close the craft&design website, including craft&design Online and the craft&design Selected Makers and Craft and Design Month websites. We've had a brilliant 35 years and would like to thank all our readers, advertisers, writers, contributors and website visitors for their support throughout that time. Our very best wishes to you all for the future - Angie and Paul.
