Sally Lees

Experienced designer Sally Lees has been designing and making limited edition jewellery in silver and aluminium for the past eleven years in her Central London studio at Cockpit Arts.

The ongoing development of sophisticated designs and with her eye for new trends plus the use of unusual materials makes Sally’s jewellery both exciting and unique.

Inspiration comes from nature with orchids, carnations and roses taking centre stage printed onto polished anodised aluminium sheet then dip dyed in magnificent colours. The delicate, intricately printed patterns are taken from original line drawings by Sally and once patterned the aluminium takes on an antique look with mirror like finishes reminiscent of Japanese lacquer.

Each piece of jewellery is unique as it is individually made from distinct parts of the printed and dyed aluminium sheet and pendants, bangles and earrings are printed on both sides for an extra edge.

In addition to the aluminium jewellery Sally hand stamps beautiful floral greetings cards and with the same patterns as the jewellery they compliment each other wonderfully and add the finishing touch to the gift experience.
