Sarah Ford

Sarah Ford is a textile designer, she works to create uniquely individual designs & products for homeware, gift & weddings.

Her designs are all hand sewn & highly embellished, this gives a luxurious aesthetically pleasing element to her work. She aims for the finished designs to not only be functional products but also treasured pieces of art work.

Sarah's main inspirations come from Haute Couture design, florals, foliage, nature, jewellery & symmetric patterns. Using a wide range of quality fabrics, she utilises hand embroidery techniques in preparation for the delicate embellishments to then be applied. Other techniques Sarah also loves to incorporate into her work are layering, appliqué & 3d work. She is known for her use of Swarovski Crystals, this gives that extra element & special sparkle to her intricate work.

A bespoke commission service is also offered from which Sarah works with the customer to create a uniquely designed product.
