Shirley Wells

Inspiration from Shakespear's Ophelia and a passion for colour, shape and texture led Shirley to designing unique and exclusive collections of jewellery and tiaras using sculptural embroidery.

Each piece is hand created from start to finish with attention to detail at every stage using beautiful velvets and threads with a variety of techniques.  Petals and leaves are individually stitched and hand sewn.  By means of freestyle machine embroidery, hand embroidery, various beads and sequins including Swarovski Crystal Beads and freshwater pearls, each design is delicately created.  All jewellery and tiaras are finished with hand stitched velvet backs to add luxury and comfort when wearing.

Each step is thoughtfully designed and created to produce 'wearable works of art' that are individual and exquisite heirlooms of tomorrow.
