Stan and Jude collaborate to produce unique Garden Sculpture in Ceramic and Steel. Inspiration is taken from the sculptural properties of plants, whether on wild walks or the naturalistic planting in their own coastal garden. Finished pieces merge with or compliment the planting. They mature to become a part of their outdoor environment.

Ceramics are hand built in stoneware clays and fired to 1240c. Underglaze colours are combined with matt or soft finish stoneware glazes. The stable, highly reflective, gloss finish of high grade stainless steel contrasts with the dull, earthiness of mild steel, which will oxidise to form a rusty coating over time.

Qualified to BA (Hons) Visual Arts and HND Art and Design respectively, Stan and Jude founded Water Street Gallery, Todmorden in 2007. Now living in East Yorkshire, they have moved on to concentrate purely on their own work. They are Members of the East Riding Artists group ERA.

Exhibitions now include Open Gardens, Gardener's Fairs, Seasonal Selling Exhibitions, selected Open Exhibitions and Artists in Residence at Burton Agnes Hall.
