Sue Lane

work by Sue Lane

I set up my first studio in Hereford in 2000 after graduating from Middlesex University. My aim was to make a living from designing and making contemporary jewellery that was clearly recognisable as my work. Ten years later I am living the dream, working from a studio in rural Herefordshire and doing something I love.

My collections are constantly evolving, although my trademark shapes and style are always evident. This is a natural progression; as a maker I constantly strive to improve and push the boundaries of my work and style. My jewellery is subtle and pure incorporating clean lines and a soft finish. My current collections are in silver, 18k gold and platinum.  My range of rings are very popular and I often work to commission, to create individual pieces for customers.

I teach jewellery making from my Herefordshire studio. I run one day workshops, teach one to one, and also couples can come to the studio for a one to one day workshop to make their own wedding rings.
