Sue Lowday

Sue designs her sculptural bags without the constraints of considering an audience, the bags are designed for herself. Many of her ideas develop through working with only the very best quality materials and getting to know how the materials work, and what they are capable of.

Materials used are the most exquisite selection of English and Italian vegetable tanned hides alongside calf, kid and pigskin linings.The range of goods includes briefcases for women and men, satchels, luggage, handbags, purses and belts. Examples can be seen in the Walsall Leather museum collection.
