The Woodshed

Sycamore clock by The Woodshed

The Woodshed is a family business of 30 years standing, run by Bob and Anita Foster at our workshops in Cambridgeshire, making pyrograved clocks, barometers and sundries.

We use English hardwoods including elm, oak, sycamore, poplar and yew. As we use naturally felled trees, stocks vary according to what woods are available. All timber is fully seasoned and guaranteed. The clock movements are good quality quartz movements. Both Clock and barometer workings are also fully guaranteed. The finished items are sealed and varnished for easy maintenance.

Each item is individually designed, cut and worked freehand and therefore each piece is unique.
Our range includes house signs and numbers for which quotes can be given. We usually carry a stock of items with wildlife artwork, but will undertake any subject matter to order. Prices start at £45.
