Yola Walaszek is a self-taught handbag designer and maker with a Psychology and Linguistic background. Her passion for working with leather and years of experience of making bags for herself and her friends has led her to setting up her own bag making business at the end of 2010.

In her Wimbledon studio at her London home, Yola creates by hand beautiful, one-off handbag designs in leather. Inspired by Arts and Crafts, she combines elements of handstitching, weaving and crocheting, and treats each bag as an individual project. 

Yola has developed her own distinctive style. Her bags are all contemporary designs and have their own simple yet original and unique character.

Yola also offers a bespoke service, subject to availability of leather hides and hardware accessories. Please contact her to discuss your requirements. The Collection also includes a range of handwoven bags, in making of which Yola uses a wide range of leather cord in various colours and thickness.

Yola's bags reflect a unique and individual fashion sense, and therefore they are aimed at women who like to stand out in the crowd.
