Yvonne Chadderton

After completing four years jewellery and silversmithing training at Sir John Cass College in London, Yvonne worked for Cartier of New Bond Street in their gemstone and diamond department. Yvonne is passionately interested in precious stones, and her experience with Cartier has given her a benchmark of quality and craftsmanship upon which she bases her own creations. Yvonne often uses unusual gemstones such as Tanzanite from Africa, and sources beautifully carved opals from Australia, which she enhances with gold and platinum.

Water and sculpture provide inspiration for Yvonne, her contemporary and sophisticated jewellery creations have clean, simple lines and at the same time are very sensuous and fluid. Her jewellery makes a strong and dramatic statement, the sculptural aspect of a piece can be emphasised with the use of a satin finish on the precious metal. These pieces are very desirable modern classic designs, unique and timeless.

Yvonne works to a wide range of private commissions, offering a personal service from bespoke engagement rings to tiaras and diamond studded suspender belts.
