David Cutmore

David Cutmore is a free-spirited artist who is currently creating a series of unique metal chairs.

Previously, David’s work has included chairs and furniture carved from a single oak tree struck by lightning and silver gilded contemporary frescoes with titles such as, ‘The Angel and the Absence of Time’ and ‘The Evolution of Perception’.

The metal chairs are cut from mild steel and the surface is ground away to create the finish you can see in the photos.

David believes, ‘If art has any rules it's not art. If it makes sense, what’s the point? Just experience the moment...’
