Kira Withers-Jones

work by Kira Withers-Jones

Kira Jones jewellery is made in the Welsh valleys by qualified designer Kira Withers-Jones. Based at Model House in Llantrisant, which houses a diverse collective of individual makers, Kira works from a small studio on the top floor, overlooking the South Wales countryside.

Inspired by the 1920s and 30s Kira uses semi-precious gemstones and Sterling and fine silver to replicate the elegance and playfulness of this era. Her resulting collections reflect this with an array of rhythmical beaded jewellery, and delicate and feminine fine silver pieces such as dresses, shoes, and cupcakes which are used to create a range of textured pendants, earrings and charm bracelets.

Her work can be found at a number of galleries throughout Wales and also at selected shows and fairs. A full range of her current stockists, and the shows she will be attending are available on her web site, along with photographs and an online shop.

Kira has also taught jewellery making to a variety of groups, from private individuals to vulnerable adults and workshops or private tuition can be arranged.
